Here's a very simple calculator for your 3D printing business

Total Material Costs is different for every filament type you use. This is because part of the formula, uses the filament density "g/cm3"

d is the density of the material

L is the length of the filament used

price is the price per gram of your filament.

Material Densities - Copied from Cura

PLA 1.24 g/cm3

ABS 1.10 g/cm3

TPU 1.22 g/cm3

PETG 1.38 g/cm3

Formula for computing "Total Material Cost"

material costs = d * π * (d/2)² * L * price
